How to Use an Iron to Remove Heat Marks on Wood Furniture

Heat marks form on wood furniture after heat and moisture are transferred from one object into the wood. Although the resulting white marks and stains appear to be on the wood's surface, they're actually absorbed into the wood. These stains commonly occur after a hot object, such as a casserole dish or dinner plate, remains in direct contact with the wood to create the stain. There are many remedies to help remove heat marks from wood; using a clothing iron is one home remedy that helps remove the stains safely from your wood furniture. Does this Spark an idea?
